FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How to film, how AI analysis helps you improve, when lessons arrive, and how the app and website split the work.
Why film from the side?
Footwork, swing, and contact are easiest to see together from a true side view. An angled or back-facing camera hides a link, and analysis cannot give reliable advice. See the filming guide under Guides for setup, duration, and file limits.
Why 60fps?
Contact and direction changes often last 1–2 frames. If the frame rate is low, the critical moment in the chain is easy to miss.
Why no overall score?
Progress happens in each link of the chain. AI analysis explains structured findings such as contact height, elbow angle, and knee extension — not a complete-looking score. The methodology page states what is measured and what is not.
What can Badmi analyze today?
Badmi currently analyzes recorded forehand smashes, clears, drops, serves, net shots, drives, and ready stances. Six stroke analyses read the contact moment; ready stance reads stance width, knee flexion, and torso position. See Guides for the complete scope.
When do lessons arrive?
Classroom grows with the app: first common skills as short lessons, then comparison with your own recordings. This site explains the analysis loop first.
